What does the colored part of your eye do?

The sclera functions as the supporting wall of the eyeball. It helps maintain your eyeball’s shape, and protects it from injury. The sclera is covered by conjunctiva, which are clear mucus membranes that lubricate (moisturize) your eye. Muscles attached to the sclera help move your eyeball up and down and side to side.

Pupil: The pupil is the black dot in the center of your eye that acts as a gateway for light. It expands in dim light and shrinks in bright light. It’s controlled by the iris.
Can blue sclera go away?
Still now, there is no cure of this disease. Genetic counseling is recommended for couples considering pregnancy if there is a personal or family history of this condition. Blue sclera may be associated with multisystem disorders so good history taking is most important.
What is white pupil?
