Can you become Thane of Morthal?
If you joined the imperials, you can only become thane when you’ve completed the imperial’s Civil War quest line. The objectives you need to complete here are as simple as is Morthal. Obtain the Helm for the Jarl, and then help out five people in his Hold, and purchase a piece of property for 15000.
Does Morthal give you a housecarl?
Valdimar is a Nord sorcerer found in Highmoon Hall in Morthal. He becomes your personal housecarl when you have earned the title of Thane of Hjaalmarch if Hearthfire is installed.
Where is my Thane Morthal?

He is appointed Housecarl when the Dragonborn becomes the Thane of Hjaalmarch. He can be found at Highmoon Hall, or at Windstad Manor once the Dragonborn has bought the deed from the Jarl.

How do I get to Hjaalmarch?
To have access to purchasing the Hjaalmarch lot, you’ll need to complete the ‘Laid to Rest’ quest in Morthal. There are multiple ways of accessing this quest. When you speak to the residents of Morthal, they’ll all be gossiping about the burned house and about Hroggar.
Can you marry Rayya?
12 Rayya. There aren’t many Redguards available for marriage, but Rayya definitely doesn’t disappoint as a character. Once the player becomes Thane in Falkreath, Rayya will become their Housecarl.
Is Rayya immortal?
She died. It doesn’t matter if the last point of health was from an enemie’s damage over time spell or poison or what. You’re very knowlegeable about the game, Zephraim, but gafc.
Who is the Stormcloak Jarl of Morthal?

If the Dragonborn sides with the Stormcloaks during the Civil War, Sorli replaces Idgrod Ravencrone as Jarl of Morthal. Upon being appointed with the new title, she takes up residence in Highmoon Hall with her husband Pactur as her Steward, and a worker from Stonehills, Teeba-Ei, serving as her housecarl.
