Are Badland winches waterproof?
Registered. The Badlands 2500 is not waterproof. It is rated as resistant to water splash. The only badlands atv winch rated to be submerged is the 3500.
Do I need to upgrade my battery for a winch?
A higher quality battery will survive winching much better than a cheapy or old battery. If your battery is destroyed, the higher capacity alternator doesn’t mean much. No alternator makes enough power to run the winch, which means that the battery has to be a higher qualiter and higher capacity battery no matter what.
Do I need extra battery for winch?
