- Swim 25 meters underwater.
- Swim 500 meters (breaststroke, sidestroke and freestyle)
- Run 1.5 miles.
- Pull-ups in one minute.
- Sit-ups in two minutes.
- Push-ups in two minutes.
Can I enlist as CCT?
CCT Recruits can request upon enlistment to join the CCT program if they qualify, so they will know if they get the opportunity to attend CCT training during the recruiting process IF they maintain standards.

What does a CCT do?
AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL The primary responsibility of a CCT is to direct air traffic. In addition to continuing the rigorous fitness training, they also learn how to become air traffic controllers and eventually get FAA certified.
What is the CCT washout rate?
The CCT pipeline has a wash out rate upwards of 90–95%, mostly due to self-eliminations, injuries sustained during training, and academic failures. The Air Force is working to lower the washout rate through proper education, testing and rigorous pre-pipeline training.
How often do CCT deploy?
CCTs will deploy any number of times. There are some guys that have deployed once a year for at least 6 months since this war began. CCTs are in high demand and there will always be a mission for them. Deployments can wear on families though, and like many SOF career fields, divorce rates can be high.
